About the NHE Supervisor Job Position
An NHE Supervisor has many different roles. Supervisors are assigned a specific territory. The number of fitness centers, within a given territory, will range from 2-5. For each fitness center, the supervisor is responsible for administering, proctoring and grading NHE personal trainer and fitness nutrition certification exams. Supervisors are not authorized to promote or sell NHE certification programs. At no time, is an NHE Supervisor a sales or marketing person. Most NHE Supervisors have very little sales or marketing experience and that is the primary reason NHE Supervisors are not qualified to sell or market NHE credential programs. *If you have substantial sales experience, and wish to sell products or services for NHE, please visit the sales department's employment opportunities.
Job Description
An NHE Supervisor is primarily responsible for administering, supervising and processing the NHE Personal Trainer (level 1, 2 and 3) exams and NHE Fitness Nutrition exams. Secondary responsibilities may involve conducting weekly health/fitness classes. Additional job details.

Hours
Part Time Only. (Weekly schedules are determined in accordance to the availability of the job holder. There are no specific, predetermined work hours. Work schedules are instituted on an individual basis.) Each new hire is given a schedule that correlates with his/her availability. In other words, there are no pre-set work schedules to adhere to. Once an agreeable schedule is determined, one that satisfies both the part-time work load commitment and the operational hours of the associated affiliate location, the implemented work schedule becomes the program schedule for the applicable affiliate location(s) [i.e. FCA or WCA]. Daily work schedules must be between 9 am and 7 pm Monday through Friday and/or between 6 am and noon on Saturdays. Saturdays are not required, they are optional.
Job Qualifications (At least one of the following)
* Substantial job experience, relevant to the position.
* A four year degree (e.g. exercise science; exercise physiology; kinesiology)
* Exceptional fitness/health accomplishment (e.g. bodybuilding, fitness or endurance competition; published author)
* Exceptional career accomplishment (e.g. tenured professor; professional athlete; company/peer award winner)
